For the few of you that don't know, GreatDrams has entered into the world of independent whisky bottling. As such we are releasing casks seasonally, so here is the GreatDrams Single Cask Scotch Whisky releases Spring 2019.

Who is GreatDrams?

We are award-winning whisky specialists based in Cheshire specialising in Limited Edition Single Cask Scotch Whisky.

We launched the GreatDrams business in 2017 with the aim to make great whisky more approachable and available to whisky drinkers. In April 2019 we were crowned Cheshire Drinks Producer of the Year at the Taste Cheshire awards.

Firstly, to do this we work with whisky maturation warehouses and distilleries to unearth rare casks of whisky that would otherwise not be released to the open market; especially not as single casks.

Secondly, when we fall in love with a flavour profile from a given cask of whisky, we buy the whole cask. Then we continue that maturation at different warehouses in Scotland. Only when we are happy the spirit has reached its ultimate taste profile, do we bottle this rare liquid and make it available to you.

All are bottled from single casks so are limited edition releases; once they’re gone, they truly are gone.

Finally, we love what we do and are constantly searching for mature whisky that not only has a story but tastes sensational.

GIRVAN SINGLE GRAIN SCOTCH WHISKY SINGLE CASK SERIES

With sweet, creamy notes of caramel, burnt sugar, hints of fresh fruit and fresh vanilla pods, this single cask Scotch whisky is super-smooth.

This Single Cask Single Grain Scotch Whisky was distilled at the Girvan Distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland. Girvan is a distillery that is rarely seen bottled as a whisky in its own right. It is one of the industrial chic distilleries of the Scotch whisky industry and was constructed in 1963 with the first spirit running from the stills on Christmas Day.

Limited edition of just 273 bottles globally. Proudly non-chill filtered and of natural colour.

BENRIACH SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY SINGLE CASK SERIES

This whisky rested in a 2nd-fill Oloroso Sherry Barrel for five years to create a unique, fruity, spicy flavour surrounded by peat smoke notes.

This Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled at the BenRiach Distillery up in picturesque Speyside. BenRiach is a hidden gem of the Speyside whisky region, it is one of very few Speyside distilleries to consistently produce peated spirit. Age: 5 Years Old | ABV: 46.2%

CRAIGELLACHIE SINGLE MALT RARE CASK SERIES

This robust Speyside single malt has had a unique six-month Oloroso Sherry cask finish giving it a lovely warming spice and fruity character.

Craigellachie has a special place in our hearts as its old school production techniques that produces a thick, flavoursome whisky. Secondly, Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled at the Craigellachie distillery up in gorgeous Speyside, then filled into ex-Bourbon cask #900668/07A in 2007 before being finished in an ex-Oloroso Sherry cask for the six months prior to bottling.
