Scotland is the spiritual home of whisky with five distinct whisky producing regions; Campebeltown, Lowlands, Highlands (including including Islands), Speyside and Islay. Each has traditional flavour profiles, but nowadays they are not as distinct as they once were; you can have a peated Speyside and an unpeated Islay, so regions are beginning to be a lot less relevant. Either way, here we review all the great and good of Scotch whisky.
