Dream Whiskies Open New Competition to Win Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix

let’s begin

Started four years ago, the Dream Whiskies website gives whisky lovers the chance to own drams most can only dream of.

Rare Spirit

Everyone knows whisky can be expensive, especially if it’s rare or exclusive. For a spirit that takes three years to legally be included in the category, there is a lot out there that many whisky fans will simply never have the chance to try. But if it was a common as Sprite, it wouldn’t be the same.

While you can get some pretty amazing drams from your local supermarket, there will always be some drams that a whisky lover will long for, pine for and completely covet. Usually it’s the ones that they only produce a couple of hundred bottles of, or the really old ones that have spent 5 decades lingering in a cask. Even the angels get to try those before we do.

This longing for drams that are simply unattainable is the very idea behind Dream Whiskies. This website and community was set up four years ago with the view to give whisky enthusiasts that chance to win some of those rare and exclusive drams that hardly anyone gets to try.

What do they offer?

As well as running competitions that are open to anyone, Dream Whiskies also have a members’ area, where subscribers get:

  • Access to weekly ‘members only’ competitions where the winner can pick their prize from a Prize Library of over 50 whiskies
  • The opportunity to win in smaller spot-prize giveaways
  • Free enrolment on an online whisky-cocktail mixology course (worth £60)
  • Plus discount codes from partners

The company’s open to all competitions are also great if you don’t feel like you can commit to a subscription. There is a tiny fee (like 50p) to enter and if you happen to win a whisky worth hundreds, it’s definitely worth it.

Currently, Dream Whiskies are running an especially exciting competition to win a Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix, which has a retail value of £700. You can take a look at the competition and enter here.

Could you be next?

So far, in the four years since they started, Dream Whiskies have given away £25,000 of whisky and prizes to people in the UK, USA, Europe & Asia. That’s a pretty impressive number, and there’s nothing to say you couldn’t be one of their lucky winners!

Snow Phoenix is their most valuable prize to date, but the company has big things in mind and are fully planning on including even more rare and exclusive prizes going forward.

Their credentials are serious as well, with the founder Paul Martin having won multiple awards for mixology as well as twice holding the Guinness world record for cocktail speed mixing. Those are very impressive accolades and he definitely knows his stuff.

If you’re interested in finding out more, their website is full of information. And if you have a spare 50p, you may as well try your hand at winning the lucrative £700 bottle of Glenfiddich Snow Pheonix!

  1. As a Dream Whiskies subscriber I have been lucky enough to have won a bottle from the their prize library selecting a Tobermory 12 year old fino cask as well as a set of cocktail glasses as one of their weekly spot prize give aways. I’ve completed the online mixology course and have yet to make use of the members discount codes, but with christmas rapidly approaching there’s a good chance I will be using these in the near the future.

  2. I have been following dream whiskies for years. Scotch and other whiskies have exploded in popularity, which is great as an enthusiast and also frustrating as a collector due to secondary market gains. Paul at least makes it worthwhile for people to enjoy scotch and try to get some of the harder to get bottles out there. The snow phoenix is a particularly awesome bottle due to the history of its inception. Sure its a NOS whisky, but its a great conversation piece and a great addition to any collector serious enough about scotch.

  4. I can certainly recommend Dream Whiskies. I’ve been lucky enough to win twice – once a spot prize of 3 miniatures and next a full size bottle of Caol Ila 18 year old. That was my pick from the Dream Whisky prize library which offers a choice of over 50 different whiskies. I’ve got my fingers crossed that my third win will be the Snow Phoenix worth £700!

  5. This a wonderful opportunity to win an an outstanding whisky.
I would encourage anyone to join Dream Whiskies, it really is worth it. I have been a member for a couple of years or so and this year have won twice. It’s not all about the winning though, one of the joys of belonging to this ‘club’ are the regular Wednesday evenings with Paul and ( sometimes) his wife Sheryl. Check it out, all are welcome, and you might join up!

  6. I have been following Dream Whiskies for a couple years now and really enjoy the Facebook live broadcasts. The folks that participate have been treated to a lot of great drink recipes. There are many regulars on the broadcasts chatting and it feels like a big family. I have been lucky enough to win a couple of the contests this year and hope to win the Snow Phoenix bottle!

  7. I have won a couple of lovely books in the weekly spot prize competitions, not won a bottle of whisky yet but plenty of other members have so keeping fingers crossed for a bottle win. The live broadcasts are always fun and informative, Paul is very knowledgeable but keeps things lighthearted and it’s always good fun when Sheryl joins him too. The subscription is very good value and you can pay it monthly rather than in one go if you wish so it makes it very affordable, there are lots of extra benefits that we get for joining and if you join in with the live broadcasts too you really feel part of a community. Well worth the subscription. Then there is the big competition that anyone can enter whether you are a member or not for just 50p and what a prize, someone is going to win a £700 bottle of Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix, Wow!
