It opens with a nose that is full of tangy lemons and sweet vanilla. It is rich and thick, with lots of flavour and body.

The lemons are sprinkled with white sugar, which gives them a lovely sweetness. The tang of the citrus fruit goes well with the more subtle vanilla that comes through.

Nectarines, peaches and apricots also appear, making this dram mouth watering and fruity. You just can’t wait to get into it. And once you do, it certainly does not disappoint.

The palate is warm and summery. The fruits come alive and are joined by lots of vanilla, whipped cream, Victoria sponge cake and a slight hint of coffee. The mouth feel is smooth and inviting, with a honeyed texture that goes perfectly with the vanilla sweetness.

The fruits are rich and full of flavour, with a nod towards more delicate, floral notes along the way.

They make the finish long and lingering. There are lots of more citrus fruits and peaches present, with a gentle hint of vanilla underneath it all.
