The world’s best whisky is rare; it’s luxurious; and in January it was sipped and admired by His Majesty King Charles. Now you can be amongst the few to taste this exceptional whisky, Rosebank 31 Year Old (YO) Lowland Single Malt, in the place where it was distilled decades ago, as Rosebank Distillery offers visitors the opportunity to taste the World’s Best Whisky with a new bookable tour and tasting which launches on 26 February (bookable from 23 February 2026).
Rosebank 31 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was named Best in the World at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, widely regarded as the world’s top whisky accolade.
Rosebank’s venue was itself given a top accolade last year. Rosebank Distillery was named Whisky Tourism Destination of the Year 2025 at the Scottish Whisky Awards, firmly establishing it as one of the country’s most significant whisky experiences.
Launching now is the ‘Discover the World’s Best Whisky’ tour and tasting. Costing £50 per person for a 90 minute event, you will have the opportunity to taste the exceptional Rosebank 31YO. The visit includes a guided tour of Rosebank Distillery and a glimpse into the distillery’s future, with samples of Rosebank New Make Spirit and Rosebank aged spirit drawn from one of the finest casks filled since 2023.
The experience has been launched to celebrate the recent award. Spaces are limited and booking is recommended. To buy tickets visit www.rosebank.com
Founded in Falkirk in 1840, Rosebank Distillery re-opened to visitors in 2024 after a meticulous restoration. It is a beautiful and impressive place, right in the heart of Falkirk and located on the side of the canal, so it’s no surprise that the venue has attracted architectural awards.
The distillery resumed production on 18 July 2023 and re-opened its doors to visitors nearly a year later, in June 2024. While the whisky world waits for the new make whisky to mature, the legacy whiskies that have lain undisturbed for over three decades are available, while they last. Rosebank 31 Year Old is just one of these historic whiskies.
