llva Saronno’s The Busker Irish Whiskey by Royal Oak Distillery strengthens its presence in the UK with the launch of The Busker Small Batch Single Malt, a premium Irish whiskey designed to meet growing consumer demand for high-quality, flavour-led and authentic spirits.
Crafted from 100% malted barley and triple distilled, The Busker Small Batch Single Malt draws on traditional Irish distilling methods while embracing a modern approach to maturation. The result is a refined, yet characterful single malt aimed at discerning UK consumers trading up within the Irish whiskey category.
Central to the expression is The Busker’s double aged maturation, with the whiskey initially matured in bourbon barrels before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for final maturation. This sequential aging process builds complexity and structure, delivering layered flavours and a distinctive house style that sets it apart on the back bar and retail shelf.
In line with the brand’s commitment to quality and transparency, The Busker Small Batch Single Malt is non-chill filtered and bottled with its natural colour, ensuring the integrity of the spirit is preserved from cask to glass. As a result, the whiskey shows intense, woody character balanced by subtle sweetness, with nutty undertones and a rich, chocolate-like mouthfeel.
Speaking about the launch, Annie Ingram, Prestige Trade Marketing Manager at Disaronno International UK said: “We’re excited to bring this new offering from The Busker Irish Whiskey to the UK. With its combination of triple distillation, double aging, non-chill filtration and natural colour, The Busker Small Batch Single Malt arrives with Disaronno International UK as a compelling proposition within the fast-growing premium Irish whiskey category. Its flavour profile and Royal Oak Distilleries production credentials position it as an accessible yet sophisticated choice for both whiskey enthusiasts and consumers new to premium Irish single malts.”
The Busker Small Batch Single Malt is available from 2nd March via The Whisky Exchange for £50 RRP.
