WHAT IT IS
This is a cream liqueur built around English single malt spirit from Lancaster Spirits Co. in the heart of England, blended with indulgent non-dairy cream. The result is silky smooth and luxuriously rich. The warmth of fine malt spirit meets creamy elegance in a pour of winter luxury. It is not Bailey’s. It is not trying to be Bailey’s. It is something more interesting than Bailey’s, made by people who care considerably more about the spirit at the centre of it than most cream liqueur producers do.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Rich and inviting. The cream leads, as it should, but the malt spirit beneath it announces itself clearly. There’s warmth here that most cream liqueurs don’t achieve because most cream liqueurs don’t start with spirit of this quality. Vanilla, soft toffee and a faint nuttiness from the malt.
PALATE
Silky is the word and it earns it. The non-dairy cream creates a texture that coats the palate in a way that feels genuinely luxurious without being heavy. The malt spirit’s character comes through the cream: warm, slightly sweet, with enough personality to remind you that this is a whisky person’s cream liqueur, not a confectioner’s. The balance between spirit and cream is the achievement here.
FINISH
Warm and lingering. The cream softens the spirit’s exit beautifully, leaving a gentle warmth and a whisper of vanilla malt. This is a finish designed for slow enjoyment. If you’re drinking it over ice, the finish evolves as the glass chills. Both versions reward patience.

We wanted to make a cream liqueur that a whisky person would actually drink without reluctance. That meant starting with spirit we genuinely respect: Lancaster Spirits Co. produces English single malt spirit with real character, and that character survives the blending process with the non-dairy cream. The non-dairy element was a deliberate choice too: it gives a cleaner, lighter result than traditional dairy cream and makes this accessible to people who avoid dairy. Greg didn’t need much persuading to try it. Or to try it again. Or to try it a third time. 500 bottles. He will not be given access to all of them.
WHY WE MADE THIS
Lancaster Spirits Co. is producing English single malt spirit in Lancashire that is genuinely worth paying attention to. English whisky and English spirits more broadly are having a moment, and Lancaster is part of the reason why.
