What’s included?

Invergordon 20 Year Old Single Cask Single Grain Whisky
We have been looking for an ancient grain whisky cask from this distillery, and finally we have found it… this which should be incredibly soft and smooth whilst being elegant and suitably refined. With fruity, fudge, and caramel notes with a touch of prune and a hint of vanilla from the ex-sherry cask it was matured in, there’s a whisper of smoke here to tie the winter fruit flavours and caramel aromas together perfectly. At 48.2% ABV, it’s mature and as smooth as you’d like.

Whether you’re cheering on your favourite tennis ace, singing your country’s songs willing the ball into the back of the net or becoming armchair experts of 32 sports for two weeks sit back, enjoy this easy-drinking Scotch whisky which has been crafted to be enjoyed neat, over ice, shaken or mixed in cocktails.

Peated Blended Malt “The Badger”

Technically we have to refer to this peated whisky as a blended malt whisky, despite the fact that 99.99999999% of it is the handy work of one distillery, whom have requested to be nameless. Without giving too much away, think iconic, think Islay, think cult status, and maybe think anagrams of Badger. Oops, did we say too much?

Now, some would call this a single malt whisky, but in actual fact, as it has been teaspooned with another delicious malt whisky, legally we can’t do that. What we can do however, is say that this Scottish malt whisky is a peated whisky drinker’s perfect tipple. It’s smoky, it’s spicy, and it offers the perfect blend of slightly rich and sweet.

English Whisky Co. 7 Year Old PX Sherry Cask Single Malt

With so many amazing Scottish spirits out there, it’s rare to find an English single malt of such fine calibre. The English Whisky Co, however, have absolutely nailed it. When we visited the distillery and were fortunate enough to try a sample, we purchased the cask on the same day. It really was that special. It is our hope that this will be the first of many of casks we release from non-traditional, modern distilleries, for those looking for something a little different from a malt whisky.

Without giving too much away, this single malt offers an amazingly fruity aroma on the nose, with heaps of fruit and raisin flavour that you would expect from a sherry cask finish. There are notes of stewed fruits, raisins, sherry, and a whisper of winter spice. Enjoyed neat, this dram is an amazing sipper.
