The North British Distillery has superb green credentials, excess heat is used to heat the local school for free and even supply excess energy back into the grid, all co2 produced is collected and sold to companies that own most of the most popular fizzy drink and beer brands you could name. We love old grain here at GreatDrams… especially when the whisky has been matured in such a high quality cask as this super-limited edition bottling. Flavour notes? Big and full bodied whilst being incredibly smooth, buttery and full of spiced orange notes, with a winter fruit note living long on the finish.
