Having very few official bottlings from the distillery itself meant we were very curious by this cask and just had to release it – especially as we have enjoyed other indie bottles from Inchgower over the years, so why not? Once upon a time the distillery had its own floor maltings and cooperage and nowadays the malt used is unpeated. Expect flavour notes of sweet spice, orange marmalade, vanilla and charred oak.

Originally called “The Great Distillery of Inchgower”, the distillery was built in 1871 just a stone’s throw from the River Spey.

Inchgower has 13 warehouses on site, where up to 60,000 casks lie sleeping away until they are mature and ready to be enjoyed.

Single casks are the rarest releases in the whisky industry as they cannot be repeated, they are not blended & are the truest representation of a distillery’s character you can get.
