As this distillery was the first to offer us the opportunity to buy a cask many moons ago, it felt fitting that we bottle a cask from here at some point and here it is! Kirsty and Greg visited this distillery around the time this cask was distilled and filled, making the connection to this whisky even stronger. Expect big malty flavours as well as a rather wonderful biscuit cooled with orchard fruits, and a rich honeycomb note too along with subtle dry, salty notes permeating through at times.

Founded in 1993, the Arran Distillery has been producing whisky since 1995 in the north of the island in a village called Lochranza

The very first cask GreatDrams founders, Greg and Kirsty, bought was from the Arran distillery many years ago – we still owns it to this day, only taking 1 x 20cl bottle each year from it for reference

Single casks are the rarest releases in the whisky industry as they cannot be repeated, they are not blended & are the truest representation of a distillery’s character you can get.
